Pam Fritz was named as one of the "50 Most Influential Women in the Optical Industry" The survey was conducted by Jobson Publishing (Ophthalmology Management, Vision Monday) in 2003. Fritz was chosen from among 187 nominees.

The plaque inscription reads: "Fritz is a strong believer in accomplishment through leadership. With 30 years experience as an optical specialist, this co-founder of the American Association of Dispensing Ophthalmologists is proudly serving as its executive director, treasurer, and producer. She is also the president of Ophthalmology Resources, a consulting firm delivering expertise in a broad range of management and marketing aspects of dispensing. A dynamic certified lecturer on topics as diverse as merchandising, design, financing, staffing and training, Pam is also a contributor in the optical trade press.
