• To help with the re-design of the existing practice entry and reception and provide a new optical dispensary and lab.
• To cover all logistics to open the optical and lab.
• To capture the Rx's into the doctor's new optical as soon as possible.

• Conduct area market research study and patient demographic analysis.
• Competition analysis of all area dispensaries.
• Prepare business plan and financial plan illustrating ROI.
• Job search, interviewing, hiring of two opticians.
• Negotiate vendor agreements for all frames and lab services.
• Negotiate purchase of lab equipment.
• Work with optical designers (Fashion Optical Displays) on development of dispensary design and patient flow.
• Assist with software set-up (Compulink) by providing dispensary data information.
• Consult on logo design and all marketing tools.
• Provide operational guidelines: dispensary budget, internal policy, procedures and protocols.
• Cover all business aspects, including registering an apprentice.
• Assist with set-up merchandising.
• Plan and implement a grand opening event, ongoing internal and external marketing.
